Easter Cupcake Topper Tutorial
What you will need:
- Yellow and orange sugarpaste
- Edible black pen
- Edible glue
- 1m nozzle
- Piping bag
- Pallet knife
- Rolling pin
- Vanlla buttercream
- Chocolate buttercream
Method:

- To make the chicks, roll the yellow sugarpaste into 3 oval balls. Then roll out the orange sugarpaste on a surface lightly dusted with icing sugar to make the beaks. Using a knife cut out 3 small squares (aprox 0.5cm) then fold diagonally in half and leave to one side to dry with the chicks.
- Flat top your cupcakes with vanilla buttercream (using a pallet knife). Then fill your piping bag with the chocolate buttercream and pipe a swirl ontop. Place the 3 chicks inside the chocolate swirl.
- Using edible glue, stick the beaks onto the chicks (about half way).
- Finally to finish, using the edible pen draw eyes onto the chicks, just above the beaks.
