1Take 100g white sugarpaste and add a few drops of chocolate and lemon yellow pro gels to create a gold colour. Use your clay extruder with the small rope fitting to make lengths of rope then twist to achieve the rope effect. |

2Brush the top edge of the blue panel with a little water and stick the rope all the way around the edge. |

3Make another small length of rope, twist and then tie into a knot shape. Check you are happy with the size against the cake, then leave to dry. |

4Mix up the royal gold dust with a little vodka to create a paint, and then carefully paint the rope and the knot. |

5Once dry, attach the knot to the right hand side of the front of the cake with a little edible glue. |
