 For the topping

  1. Soak 100g of dates in boiling water for 10 minutes.

  2. Preheat the oven to 180C. Grease and line a 9x9in baking tin.

  3. Add to a large mixing bowl: 100g of oat flour, 100g of ground almonds, 40g of cocoa powder or raw cacao, 100g of coconut sugar, 20g of Lio Licious apple powder, 1tsp of baking powder and 1tsp of ground cinnamon. Mix the dry ingredients together.

  8. Once the brownie has cooled, spread the topping over to cover then cut into 9-12 pieces.

  9. Sprinkle 3 tbsp of Lio Licious diced apple pieces over the topping to add a zing of apple.

  10. Try not to eat it all at once!
