Well readers, you've done it again...You've well and truly impressed us this month. After a slightly slower summer, you're back with a passion with your entries for August's Best of the Bunch Facebook competition. As always, it was so hard to pick our favourite creations, so a HUGE well done to the winners we've featured below. If you weren't featured this time, don't feel disheartened - we appreciate each and every time you share your work with us - and as the competition is monthly, there's always chance to be selected in the future! Just keep your eyes on our Cake Decorating Heaven Facebook page to enter. Take a look at the winning posts below, an congratulations again to these talented decorators!
Patricia BooisterWe LOVE these biscuit/cake crossover projects at the moment, and this masterpiece which is celebrating an 8th birthday is a beauty! The multicoloured piping is our favourite element, finished beautifully with edible flowers.
Jenna SymonsFor precision and delicate intricacy, there's nothing that can really compare to Jenna's three-tier wedding cake. Topped with beautifully crafted flowers, with a beautiful pattern on the icing, this cake would be fit for royalty!
Janette GreenInspired by the Frog Chorus, Janette's creation covers two tiers, with some eye-wateringly intricate decorative work. We can't help put be impressed by this beauty - we especially love the owl.
Rachel's Enchanting CakesThough Rachel mentions it was a challenge, we think she did an amazing job with her first-ever sewing machine-themed cake! The sewing machine itself is created from Rice Krispie treats, and supported inside using cake dowels. An amazing effort!
Julie BerryJulie's here to show that a pared-back approach to cake decorating can work wonders too! Here, her three-tiered 'naked' cake is finished with perfect handmade sugar paper roses. Adorable, especially for a first attempt!
Congratulations again to all our winners. You can see July's winners here - a great resource for inspiration!
