Boy, you've made some stunning cakes this month!
Once again, we were blown away by the standard of these AMAZING cakes. Perhaps you've all been inspired by the Bake Off showstoppers, or perhaps you're just stepping it up a notch, but either way we're totally impressed! If you made it, congrats! If not, never fear: there's always next month's Facebook competition to try. Keep an eye on Cake Decorating Heaven's Facebook page for competition announcements. For now, let's take a look at this month's winners.Janette Green
Janette made this Yoda cake for a friend's birthday, but her kids loved him so much they wanted to keep him (and we don't blame them)! In order to keep them happy, Janette made them the Chewbacca cake the next day, and we think it's just as great!
Deb Macdonald
How realistic is this woolly hat cake? We love the braiding! According to Deb, the cake is made using a mixture of mats and moulds. It's an almond sponge with jam and buttercream fillings.
Amy Hoss Peeples
What a perfect cake for a first bee-day! The precision, personalisation and ADORABLE little bees on this two-layer cake completely won us over. We bet Reese was 'buzzing' when he received it!
Lindsay Lawson
Lindsay made this incredible cake for her best friend's wedding. Look how detailed it is! Seriously impressive. One thing is for sure: none of the guests will forget this wedding cake anytime soon.Congratulations to all of our winners! If you're here looking for inspiration, we have loads more of it here.
