We had the pleasure of being at Cake International from 3-5 November, these are some of our favourite cakes from the show...
Cake International showcases the very best of cake decorating every year. This year saw over 1,500 cakes on the competition tables alongside some wonderful products, demonstrations and exhibitions across the whole weekend.
A grand exit
This stunning cake sat near the show exit, an 8 tiered masterpiece created by Michael Lewis Anderson to celebrate the 65th Sapphire Jubilee of HRH Queen Elizabeth II.
Magical Moving Dragon Machine
An incredible (moving) exhibit from Harriet aka Cakey Cake. One big moving dragon plus a whole range of sculptures surrounding it.

Our favourite competition cakes
There were quite literally thousands of cakes at Cake International, so we've selected a few of our favourites. The dress everyone wanted to see
This beautiful dress made by Emma Jayne and used 60kg sugarpaste and 50kg modelling paste to create. It took ten days in all - five days JUST making it’s over 1,000 flowers! Based on a wedding dress designed by Mak Turang this version used well over a thousand Preciosa crystals. The sculpture that captured our hearts
Another incredible piece by Emma Jayne. This war horse sculpture was helping to raise money and was our personal highlight of the whole show!Content continues after advertisements
