Are you really excited by the Great British Cake Decorator competition, but too nervous to enter?

You may be really excited by the illusion theme but worried you may not be 'good' enough to enter. Perhaps you're concerned you don't have the time, or you have too many other deadlines? Don't worry, we've been speaking to the winners and runners up of 2016 and 2017's competitions, to show you that entering a competition is always worth a try! With past entrants who had never touched an airbrush before and another who was 40 weeks pregnant on the competition's closing date, here's some motivation from competitions not long past!

Theme: Fairytales

"I had recently been setting up my cake business and winning GBCD 2017 really gave me the confidence boost I needed to go for it!"
