The Hairy Bikers are to star in a new baking show The Real Willy Wonkas
The Hairy Bikers new show will focus on chocolate, featuring seven confectioners competing to win their own bar in the shops. David and Si will be judging the contestants as they complete weekly tasks in a TV kitchen. The winner will have their chocolate created by Nestle and launched nationwide. A 'TV Insider' told The Sun that "The show has many of the greatest elements of Bake Off, but it goes a step further in that the whole nation will be able to taste the winner’s talent. The hope is a Willy Wonka in waiting will come up with a recipe as iconic as other Nestle staples like Milkybar.” The show will air on Channel 5, coming in the Spring of 2020.
