Protein brand Fuel10K have created an instant breakfast muffin in a pot

Claiming a UK first, Fuel10K have made an instant oat muffin in a pot, for your ultimate lazy breakfast mornings. The muffin pots have two flavour options – double chocolate and banana and chocolate, available for £1.49 each. Containing whey powder, the pots contain at least 15.7g of protein per 100g. It also has 70% less sugar than an average home-baked muffin from a mix at 9.3g, according to Fuel10K. The 'instant' muffins require adding water and then microwaving for 45-60 seconds. The muffin pots will be available from the 18th November in Tesco stores across the UK. These muffins are the result of consumers "demanding more and more convenience during their morning repertoires", noted Jason Kerr, co-founder and head of innovation at Fuel10K. “This is a perfect complement to our on-the-go range of breakfast drinks and porridge pots by offering something healthier, quicker and a bit different for consumers who are short on time and inspiration.” Fuel10K already offers a Fruit Loaded Granola and Salted Caramel porridge pot, and these muffin pots will expand their convenient breakfast range further.
