A summer of literature and cake continues at the iconic
London Review Cake Shop, a venue packed with potential to become one of the coolest cafés in the city. They've opened their doors to host a series of poetry and author events, which you can enjoy from the comfort of the café chairs and the pleasure of a freshly baked brownie or Victoria sponge to keep you company. Sound incredibly civilised? We thought so too.
The next event coming up is the London Review Bookshop is Happy Hour on Tuesday 28th August. Guests will be able to enjoy the evening sunlight and acoustic vibes in the glorious café setting from 6.3o until 8.30pm. On Sunday 31st August, experience the bookshop's regular poetry night, this month featuring Kayo Chingonyi and Eric Gregory Award winner Sarah Howe. The refreshments will be, as ever, top notch and served alongside the finest teas.
