Potterheads rejoice! Parties are to get even better with official cake range release
At long last, an official Harry Potter cake range has been announced! The range will be available this month in Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury's and in Asda from October. The range includes a celebration cake for £10-12, which features the Hogwarts Crest. The 12-pack cupcake platter is decorated with the crests of each house and will be available for £7. There will also be individual house cakes, featuring all four houses, so you can show off your house pride with cake! Each gift cake will be £4.
Jordan McCann, Junior brand manager at Finsbury, told British Baker that "Harry Potter is one of the most beloved franchises of all time and we're delighted to have secured the opportunity to introduce it to the cake category. We pride ourselves on finding innovative ways to bring the most popular films and TV shows to the cake aisle... [we're] sure that fans will appreciate the opportunity to enjoy a bit of Harry Potter magic through cakes!"
