Paul Hollywood is set to juggle his judging duties on The Great British Bake Off with a new baking programme, to be aired on Food Network.
The programme, Paul Hollywood City Bakes, will see the celebrity chef exploring different bread and pastry recipes from locations all across Europe and North America, to see what different cultures have to offer in terms of baked goods. "Food culture can reveal so much about a nation," said the 49-year-old blue-eyed baker, who has been judging the Great British Bake Off alongside Mary Berry since 2010.
The series will see Paul explore everything from family recipes, hotel delicacies and local favourites, as well as adding his own Hollywood twist to each dish. Hollywood said it would be "a privilege to be able to delve into the lives of fellow bakers and discover some really amazing international bakes."
Richard Farmbrough, of production company Reef Television, said the "mouth-watering project" would show "a different side" to the "baking megastar", who is famously more critical and difficult to please than his Bake Off co-host.
The new show will air in April, and will be broadcast on the Food Network in the UK.
