World Bread Awards adds new category for restaurant or pub bakers

A new category has been added for the 2019 Tiptree World Bread Awards. 'Best Restaurant and Gastro Pub Bread' award is sponsored by Matthews Cotswold Flour.

Celebrate the art of bread-making at the Tiptree World Bread Awards!

With eighteen categories, including Gluten Free, Fruit and Flatbread, there are plenty of opportunities for both professional and amateur bakers to showcase their talents at the Tiptree World Bread Awards! Now a new category has been added for the 2019 awards, the 'Best Restaurant and Gastro Pub Bread' award is sponsored by Matthews Cotswold Flour. There are many prizes to be won, including a £1000 cash prize and the KitchenAid Queen of Hearts Collection. The winner of the 'Best Restaurant and Gastro Pub Bread' award will also receive two free 16kg bags of flour of their choice from Matthews Cotswold Flour. Anyone can nominate a pub or restaurant for the award, with customers being entered into a prize draw to win £150 for a meal out (bread included of course!). Online applications need to be made by 4 September, costing £15. The fresh bread will need to be delivered to Westminster Cathedral Hall in London on 26 September.
