Laura Loukaides is a super talented cake decorating artist who makes these unbelievable cakes, they don't even look like cakes...
Ever been to a party and presented with a giant burger filled with cheddar cheese – only to find that it’s full of gloriously sweet Victoria sponge. Or imagine the joy at finding that a bowl of spaghetti and meatballs is in fact raspberries, shredded icing and cake.
The Hertfordshire based cake decorator, 23, is self-taught and has already won plenty of awards, she achieved gold at Cake International - the sugarcraft, cake decorating and baking show.
Laura suffers from severe anxiety which, at various times, has left her unable to leave the house.
In the past, she has said that her confidence was shattered by a school teacher shouting at her in class.
She started baking after seeing the American TV series Cake Boss and started to watch YouTube cake decorating tutorials.
Her biggest creation to date is a cake she made back in 2014 which appears to be a huge stack of food – including pancakes, macaroons, a quarter pounder burger, corn on the cob and doughnuts.
And you'll be pleased to know, she’s got a few of tutorials so you can *try* to recreate some of her spongy magic!
If you’re interested in making rice crispy doughnuts or a unicorn cake, you’re in luck.
