Loaded with crunchy nuts, these nutty chocolate chunk cookies will satisfy any sweet tooth.

  • 8 tbsp butter, softened
  • 65 g brown sugar
  • 65 g golden caster sugar
  • 1 free-range egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 160 g plain flour
  • 130 g of your choice of nuts (sliced almonds, cashews, hazelnuts etc)
  • 110 g Lily O'Brien's Crunchy Salted Almond Chocolate Share Bag
  • 20 g milk cooking chocolate
  • sea salt, for sprinkling on top


Preheat the oven to 180oC/Gas Mark 4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and beat for another 2 minutes.
Add the vanilla, salt and bicarbonate of soda and mix well. Add the flour and beat until just combined. Fold in the nuts and the chocolate.
Drop balls of the cookie dough on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes, or until slightly browned along the edges. Sprinkle with sea salt.
