Mash croquettes

Made with Idahoan perfect Mash, mozzarella and panko breadcrumbs these croquettes require few ingredients and are quick to make thanks to Idahoan Mash’s tasty shortcut. Why not give them a go to impress your friends or family this weekend, or to enjoy all to yourself…

  • 1 pack of Idahoan Perfect Mash
  • 200g mozzarella cheese
  • Flour
  • Salt and pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Chilli flakes
  • 1 egg
  • 75g panko breadcrumbs


Make your Perfect Mash as per the instructions on the pack (I like to add butter for extra creaminess).
Mix in 200g cheese (I used mozzarella), season it with salt, pepper, garlic powder and chilli flakes to taste.
Prep three shallow dishes for the batter. One for flour, beaten egg and panko.
Form your croquette shape, coat it in a nice thin layer of flour, then egg, then panko.
Deep fry for 1.5 mins or until golden brown, sprinkle chives on top for extra taste.
