Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas ((the browner and spottier the better))
  • 200 g Lizi's Low Sugar Maple & Pecan Granola
  • 160 g rolled oats
  • 80 g butter, melted
  • 60 g nut butter ((peanut has a great flavour but almond, cashew and others are all nice too))
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup
  • 4 medjool dates, stones removed and chopped roughly
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

1
Preheat the oven to 200ºC/Gas Mark 6. Peel and mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir to combine.
2
Pour the mixture into a 23cm (9in) square tin (that has been greased and lined) or a silicone mould and bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes. Remove and allow to cool before slicing into squares.
3
Store in an airtight container for up to three days.
